| First shot of Chris looking at Urban area. |
We filmed our first shoot at Tunbridge Wells, on top of a multi story car park, showing the view of the urban location and the main character looking out onto it. In addition, we also filmed the main character sitting at a bus stop and with the character standing in front of a plain white wall. The main character (Chris) was the only character being filmed on our first shoot. This took 2 hours in total to film.

We filmed around 30 seconds of footage, which is all the footage of our urban location that is going to be in the music video. We encountered one problem when shooting. It was the fact that the trains were 45 minutes delayed, therefore we were a little bit pushed for time. As a result the lighting was slightly different to what we expected because the position of the sun had moved however it was not a major issue.
| Joey Planning mise-en-scene for shot of Chris. |
We have learnt that each shot needs more than 2 attempts as it gives us more choice when it comes to editing the footage and choosing the best one. In addition, when looking back at the footage it is likely that we notice things in the mise-en-scene that we did not notice when filming, therefore it could potentially make us not like those shots.
