Group: Second Shoot Date

CC: Yesterday, Liam and I went to Southborough woods to film some of the rural footage to go into our music video. We found that these woods were actually a lot better than Knowle Park as well as much more accessible. We filmed some close ups of the woods, mid shots of Chris and some footage of Chris walking through the woods that Joey planned for us to shoot using a shot list.

We encountered a few problems. The first problem was the fact that the sun went down very quickly, therefore we were only in the woods for 1 and a half hours. Another problem is the fact that we had to wait for it to be a sunny day, however this is difficult in the winter season. The final problem we had was the fact that we could only film the footage with only Chris in it because the other actors were not available. We have decided to do some more rural filming on Wednesday as it is forecasted to be sunny. In the mean time we are creating some images to use for the projections and we are going to film some of the studio work that we have planned during a lesson.

LB: Before going out to shoot we had created a list of shots we wanted to do on the bases of our Animatic, unfortunately we were unable to complete all the shots we had planned to do, so we are now aware of how important it is to go and film some more. Hopefully when we look back at the footage we can use some of it for our Timeline and really start getting serious with our editing. The shots we had planned to do were;

• Close up to Long shot - Pulling out of Chris's face to reveal new location.  (X)
• Find a clearing and Film conceptual shot of Chris popping 'Party Poppers' (Y)
• Some Location shots, filler shots (Needs to be re-shot)
• Chris with mask/no mask (Y)
• Walking through Forest   (Y)
• Other Cast Members with masks filmed in woodland areas (Cast not available) 

So from this we have realized that there are still gaps, however this Shoot will still be beneficial to us, its just a shame we struggled with time.
