We have been considering the print work for our song for a while as we noticed that all the album covers and promotional print have still images from the music videos of the song so this is something we need to take into consideration while filming our video.
The images mostly seem to have a colour filter making the image appear faded and all the print has the same style of typography. The have the same font which appears to be very simple but in different colours, however it has a triangle logo as a replacement for the letter 'A'. This has made it more difficult to find the precise font. Often the words cross over and share a letter making an interesting look.
We have tried using Photoshop to cut out the letters and this worked fairly well but may have to be done to a better standard for our real thing.
The album art is also used for tour posters and similar so there is not something different for both.
Having made a mock-up album cover, we have realised that the Bastille printwork seems to be very simple so we may consider trying something slightly different that does not fit completely with all their other print.
