LB: In today's lesson we looked further into what our group wants to choose as the track. We are currently undecided what we ant too do as a group. However we have come too some decisions which include not wanting to have a slow song. In our preliminary task we had a fast paced song which gave us the chance to use a fast cutting rate which we thought worked well. As well as slow motion shots despite matching the tempo of the track.
We have also decided that we do not want to do a mainstream performance video but instead either a conceptual or narrative based video too alternative music or house/dance music. Today we also looked at deconstructing a music video when it comes to: Institution and audience, genre and narrative, media language and Representation. We also looked at how we can link ideologies and theories from Dyer and Goodwin.
